This Sri Racha Baan Bung FC competes in Yamaha League-1 with 1 purpose only; to learn from playing League games as much as possible.

The average age of this team is 19, with footballers who were born 1997-1999, with few exceptions like GK Daisuke Tada at age 34 and 9 years experiences at Cezero Osaka. Nearly 90% of them are Chonburi Juniors from Chonburi FC Academy who will no doubt be future sharks.

Sri Racha lost all 4 games this season but last Saturday home loss to Ayutthaya wasn't because they don't play well.

Their 4-5-1 formation under Head Coach Naruepon Kaenson and Team Manager "Coach Heng" Wittaya Laohakul though having a hard time getting the ball goalwards but they are not afraid to fight for possession at midfield or try their attacks along both sidelines.

Sole striker Boonlert Chaiyasin(#21) is one of Chonburi talents but he hasn't get to show much of his skills on the grass in the past games. Boonlert has speed and his footwork was something to watch out for.

While fielding young Chonburi footballers in midfield and Boonlert hangs around in the front, the more experienced Ivorian Centre Backer Daniel N Pascal (#25) and Japanese Yuki Miyasawa (#19) will stand the last line before Tada.

Coach Heng rotated positions around in the past 3 games so it's not easy for me to try and see what the fam plans will be, but it seems that he will stick to a 4-5-1 and try not to lose so many goals. Those guys to watch are Right Winger Worachit Kanitsribampen (#8) if he returns from national team U-17 tournament in Japan in time to play Phuket FC. Saharat Sonthisawat (#10) and Timor-Leste Centre Backer Almeida Barbosa will control midfield.

Phuket FC needs this win more than ever as they haven't win any game since season opener against Pattaya United on 23rd February.

Last week at Krabi away game Teco dropped Sakareya (#26) and Eakartit (#22) and now we will have to see if they will be back for this game.

Prachaya Hong-in (#6) played right backer in Sakareya's place and did quite well. The bigger problem is on the left side where there seems to be no replacement for Dusit who struggles when faces wingers with speed and could end up with a yellow card. If my math is correct, Watchara Kriarum (#21) will miss this game as he picked up 4 yellow cards, 1 from Pattaya game, 2 in Angthong and the last one in Krabi, and will be banned.

Phuket FC will have home field advantage, but in a game where Sri Racha plays 5 midfielders, missing Watchara who had been a big help stopping the plays before it gets to the defense line might end up a bit messy.

Sri Racha wouldn't worry much about winning this game as they know they are a much younger team. For them, it appears, playing is their goal, 1 point is a win and winning the game is a big plus.

Phuket FC has dark cloud of pressure and fans expectations hanging over their heads, this will not be an easy game for The Ronins to win because fans already think winning this young team is a must for Phuket.

But if you ask me, underdogs can bite too.

Kaze's prediction: Phuket FC 2-0 Sri Racha Baan Bung FC
