Thalang power cut announced

PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) Thalang office has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off in parts of Thalang on Friday (Jan 4) as works are carried out on installing new high-voltage power cables.

The area to be affected by the power outage, from 9am to 4:30pm, is along Hua Tieo Rd, in Moo 3 Cherng Talay.

The affected area includes Bangtao Beach Gardens Resort, 6th Avenue Surin Beach, Club Lersuang Townhouse, The Kris Resort Condotel at Bangtao Beach, Baan Thai Surin Garden.

In its announcement, the Thalang PEA apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is carried out.
