It’s not for nothing that Sunday Brunch at the Twinpalms’ Oriental Spoon restaurant is one of the island’s largest displays of food. On the menu is – take a deep breath – fish, beef and lamb cuts, breads, salads, pasta, roast vegetables, pizza, seafood, sushi, and large assortment of imported cheeses.
Last week when we visited, the special was British beef Wellington, while highlights included the crème brulée (with the caramelised sugar, top cooked to perfection), Thai salads (authentic and a good range), a chocolate fountain, and plenty of fresh European breads, including a special fruit variety.
Another standout at Oriental Spoon is the quality of service. Waitresses were very attentive and drinks were kept filled without missing a beat. Bookings are essential for those wishing to attend.
