First off in the top flight was the grudge match between Shakers FC and Morning Star.

Shakers have always proved a worthy opponent for Morning Star, and this game was no different. Although Morning Star were ahead at the break, Shakers deservedly came back to win the match 5 – 3.

The result put them three points clear at the top of the table.

Next up was Rugantino, searching for their first win of the season against new boys PSU Alumni, who were coming off the back of a win on their league debut the week prior.

Rugantino however finally showed why they are reigning champions, grinding out a 4-2 win.

In the final Division 1 game, there was nothing between Nanai Boys and The Hulk as they drew 4-4.

In Division 2, the game of the week was between arch-rivals Atmanjai and Mr Moo. The fiery encounter served up 40 minutes of fast-paced action and verbal abuse, to the enjoyment of all the spectators.

New boys Mr Moo however looked tactically superior, and Dave Jordan’s goal-scoring prowess saw them run out 8-4 winners.

In other Division 2 results, Pita Bar Phuketeers continued their winning streak against new team Thai Nee FC with a 5-2 victory, while new kids on the block Vanilla FC picked up their first points against Seduction with a cool-as-ice 4-2 win.

Phuket Serenity Villas also made a meal out of Aladdin Fans 9-3, while Puensil FC made themselves one of the Division 2 favourites with an 8-5 victory over Babynoname.
