XANA with Attica to hold ‘Dinner in the Dark’. Phuket’s first real beach club joins international global community by holding Earth Hour dinner on Saturday 23rd March
XANA with Attica, Phuket’s first real beach club, will be holding a dinner evening to celebrate the international energy saving event, Earth Hour, on Saturday 23rd March.
Dinner in the Dark will include a buffet BBQ that is cooked from natural heat sources, right on Bangtao Beach, from 19.30pm until late.
The BBQ, which is 1,100 BHAT per person, will include Western style meat and seafood on the skewer, as well as Thai marinated chicken and fish dishes. One glass of Singha beer / wine and selection of deserts and fruit will also be included.
At 8.30pm local time, XANA will then join homes and businesses across Phuket and the rest of Thailand to turn electricity off. During this hour, guests will be treated to a beach performance with the island’s leading fire dancers and percussionists.
A lantern release will then mark the end of Earth Hour at 9.30pm.
Further entertainment on the night will be provided by DJ Marco, who will be holding XANA’s Earth Hour after-party.

Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, in cooperation with Earth Hour communities worldwide, will participate in the 2013 Earth Hour effort on Saturday 23 March 2013 from 8.30pm to 9.30pm, Phuket local time.
To raise awareness of global warming and to take action against climate change, lights will be turned off on the exterior of the building, as well as in the restaurants, main lobby and other public areas.
The resort also encourages in-house guests to participate in Earth Hour day with regards to reducing electricity consumption and carbon emissions for that hour.
