The win propelled the Islanders to 13th on the table out of 18, two spots from the relegation zone where they sat after a 2-0 loss at Suphanburi last week.
Tomorrow (October 13) the Islanders will take on third place Bangkok United, a team they lost to 3-0 victory back in April before their recent slide into possible relegation.
There are three matches left before all is said and done, with the team still just one point out of the relegation zone. But with Phuket FC gaining their first points under new coach Anurak Srikerd, another year in Thai Division 1 is very much possible.
October 13- Phuket FC at Bangkok United – 6pm
October 20- Phuket FC at Raj Pracha – 4pm
October 27- Rangsit JW at Phuket FC – 4pm
