Phuket FC loses 5-0

PHUKET: Phuket FC lost its Thai FA Cup clash 5-0 to Muangthong United yesterday at the SCG stadium in Bangkok.

All five goals were scored in the second half.

Many players also suffered a number of injuries, with defender Piyawat injured and replaced by Japanese player Yusuke Sato. After Muangthong United scored their first goal, striker Sukree E-tae suffered a head injury and was stretchered off, but it is not believed to be serious. He was replaced by Chana Sonwiset.

Both the injured are expected to be fit and ready to continue the fight for promotion soon.
