Yamaha League 1/Thai Division 1 games this weekend:

Ayutthaya 1-1 Sriracha
Nakhon Pathom United 2-1 Khon Kaen
Nakhon Ratchasima 1-0 Krabi
Saraburi 5-2 Rayong Utd
TTM 1-4 Singh Tarua

Singh Tarua moved temporarily back into third sport after their 4-1 success at TTM. Nakhon Ratchasima also kept in check with Yusuke Kato’s late penalty wrapping up the points for the under par Swatcats.

The highest scoring match of the day saw Saraburi knock five past struggling Rayong United. Mario Neto claimed a brace while the impressive Bernard Henri was on the score sheet again for the Red Knights.

Nakhon Pathom United remain on the periphery of the promotion race after they beat Khon Kaen 2-1. Camera Soulemane opened the scoring before a bit of playacting by the goalscorer got Li Xiang a second caution which meant the T-Rex had to play the last 75 minutes with only 10 men. A Matius Recio free kick leveled for Khon Kaen but the ten men couldn’t hold out for a point as Warawuth stuck the winner for Nakhon Pathom late on.

Before kick off, Ayutthaya would have fancied their chances against an off form Sriracha. However, after Gaston gave Sriracha a 58th minute lead, Ayutthaya would have been satisfied that Nuttapat’s 83rd minute goal earned them a share of the spoils.
