Six World Muay Thai Boxing championship belts will be at stake, with prize-fighters both male and female from Thailand, Luxembourg, Finland, England, Spain, Sweden, and New Zealand, fighting at 112-, 118-, 147-,153- and 154-pound classes.
Promoter Piya Isaramalai said seating at the stadium is sufficient for about 3,000 and noted that the tournament is special not only owing to the quality of fighters but because “the women’s trophies are by appointment to HM Queen Sirikit”.
Seven amateur matches will also be fought. The event begins at 8pm.
