Wow, now also June 3 became a National Holiday, So, now 20 Public Holidays in Thailand! .."Most thai are working anyway"?? Why most thai are working on 'PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?. For a double pay? A public holiday is an public holiday. Right? Plus the annual holidays. More than 6 weeks holidays for thai. That is great!

I'd love to get a job in a Thai Embassy somewhere- you'd be on paid holiday more than you'd work with both countries' holidays off.

...How many people he thinks do really benefit from those holidays ?Most Thai's are working anyway.Funny that a retired expat who doesn't do much except complaining all the time ,is concerned about other people's holidays .How many days off, apart from public holidays,do they get in your country?

Jor12 | 23 May 2019 - 06:06:53

All countries have holidays for one reason or another. Isn't that the reason why you are here? Other than to whinge about everything?

Kurt | 22 May 2019 - 16:55:05

Wow, and don't forget the additional/supplementary holidays when the real holidays is on a Saturday or Sunday. On top of that the normal annual holidays. Thai people are very, very good off with their holidays. Great country with a relaxing working life.
