A beachy Movenpick breakfast in Phuket

PHUKET: Sure, we all have our favourite brunch places, but how often do you go out for breakfast? We’re betting not that often.

That’s why the tempting breakfast offering at the Palm Beach Club in Bangtao, managed by Mövenpick Resort Bangtao Beach Phuket, is such a smart idea.

There’s a huge attraction of enjoying your first meal of the day directly on the beach, and it would make a great option if you have guests in town and don’t want to crowd around the dining table.

Located beachside of the Mövenpick, you have a choice of tables either set in the sand or a spacious covered patio.

With adults paying B650++ and children B320++ (aged between 4 and 11), it’s priced competitively especially when compared to the surrounding hotels and resorts that dot the Bangtao area.

So what exactly does your money buy you? Diners enjoy a full, five-star hotel buffet spread, which includes an array of pastries, fresh fruit, waffles, cereals and muesli, juices and smoothies, cold cuts, and sandwiches. On top of that there is a hot food selection, which ranges from Thai to Western.

Thoughtfully, if you’re not in the mood for a big breakfast, you can instead order fresh orange juice with some delicious pastries from their a la carte menu.

Executive Assistant Manager Michael Wenk says this is being expanded in the near future, along with the addition of a new crepe station.
